So, here we go…
1| Invest in your Vision
This is critical. You need to be invested in your vision. If possible, invest in a business coach or a mastermind group. Go to a conference. Commit to something that will help you move forward. Not only will this provide you with invaluable insight and wisdom about the process of launching something, but it will also give you some serious accountability to actually get it done.
2| Ask for Help
Seek wisdom and insight from others who have gone ahead of you down a similar path.
3| Write Down your Goals + Ideas
Take time to think through what you need to do + make a plan. Then write it down. Create a timeline with deadlines to keep you accountable. But don’t allow yourself to get buried in the details. Track your progress and celebrate your successes along the way. It’s not just about the finish line. Launching something should be fun and exciting, remember?
Oh, and definitely keep all of your notes and ideas! Even if you don’t use them right away and can always come back to them later. I literally have an entire binder FULL of notes and I’m constantly adding to it everyday.
4| Create Visual Inspiration
Make a moodboard or a vision board and keep it where you can see it every single day. This visual reminder of your dream will keep you inspired by the bigger picture and spur you forward.
5| Keep it Simple
Trust me, it doesn’t have to be as difficult as you think. Just keep it simple and get it done.
6| Give yourself GRACE
Spoiler alert: your launch will not be perfect. And that’s okay. It doesn’t have to be and chances are no one will even notice if it isn’t.
Progress over perfection my friend.
This may seem obvious, but it’s worth saying. You can’t keep talking about launching your dream or doing that thing that’s been on your heart forever. (Preaching to myself here)
At some point you just have do it…ready or not. You have that dream or vision in your heart for a reason. Don’t keep it to yourself. Share it with others.
